1968: The Musical

This rock musical portrays the struggle of protesters at the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago, and the strain it puts on one couple's relationship. The couple exemplifies society’s divisions with one of them continuing to preach a hopeful message of peace and love while the other craves vengeance, vulnerable to going down an angry, violent path. Commemorating the 50th anniversary of this historical event, the film not only reflects our past, but also our current divided, political climate. It proves that we must all come together to better our country, no matter who's running the government.
